Re: Things you want to tell people but can't

I have muted them on twitter, where they posts the majority of the personal whining (in blocks of 15+ tweets at a time, so it's basically spam as well). I know this person irl, so it's a bit difficult (especially since I want to avoid being one of the evil people who deserted them...).
I hope they get help as well, but it seems they don't actually want help the way they're biting people's heads of for even suggesting/offering it.

tbh if you need 15 tweets to say what you want to say, Twitter probably isn't the platform for you...

(I never use it, but I'm glad you can mute people. I hope it helps avoid the drama. And yeah, it does sound like they don't want help - they want the rest of the world to bend over backwards to accommodate them, which is very immature but not really that unusual... :/ )

Yeah, they do this with fandom stuff as well - huge wordy rants spread out over 30 tweets and more. They have a tumblr as well (several, actually) so I really don't know why they don't use that for the bigger rants and everything. Well, I guess it's because, as you said, they want people to notice their distress. There simply are people who revel in very publicly drowning in their self-pity. Complete with the occasional guilt tripping about why you don't care for them more.
