I did a search for recent Jasper fanart. I'm not seeing anything like this: http://knowyourmeme.com/search?context=images&q=steven+universe+jasper&sort=newest I don't recall anything like this on Beach City Bugle, either.

Also, I don't think the writers are dumb enough to have Jasper become feminine as part of becoming good. After all, if they were that dumb, they would have had good Peridot lose her detached, "rational" outlook.

I mean, I don't think we can call Jasper either butch or femme in canon. We've only seen her dress one way, and that's basically a uniform, so who knows?

Uh, she still looks pretty muscular to me in that fanart, so I don't see how that's turning her "femme"? Unless you consider someone wearing a dress to be automatically "femme," in which case there are a lot of female athletes/wrestlers/etc. who would probably like to have a word with you.

...Butch and femme are about personal style, not (necessarily) body type.

If a woman is muscular and athletic, and likes short haircuts and flannel shirts and no makeup, then sure, she's butch. But if she prefers wearing cute dresses and pretty earrings and perfect winged eyeliner, that puts her on the femme end of the spectrum. It's not like the word means "weak" or "non-athletic".

Jasper is the only one with distinctly animated eyelashes. Mascara is femme!

That said I am pleased for that to continue to be her only major femme flourish.

i really doubt it has to do with the fact that it was Paaaaink Diamond more like the only real other gem we know to have served PD was Rose, who does.

from what we've seen of the other gems serving the Diamonds, their clothing do seem to reflect their Diamond's style, it wouldn't be farfetched for PD thing to be flowy/"femme" considering Rose.

or maybe people just like drawing buff gals in cute dresses cause that's their thing and it just ain't yours ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
