As far as I remember, 3A was the season where the show begun the slide down, but the problems got glaringly obvious mainly in 3B.

People had so many different reasons for disliking the show back then so it's hard to point out any particular one, for example many people (me included) hated the True Alpha plot and how Lydia and Danny suddenly started dating the twin murderers, and the sudden Isaac/Allison romance, and Erica and Boyd dying, plus Cora shoehorned in there as a ridiculous replacement... The list of things that I liked was much shorter.

Hmm. My 3B goggles might be too frosted with Stilinski family feels, but I felt like S4 was where things first started going to shit in a dramatic fashion.

I think it depends on what characters you were mainly following. Stiles got some good spotlight during S3, but some others really got shat on during that time. But yeah, by S4 it was crap all around.

I didn't mind the True Alpha idea -- in that a beta that can ascend to alpha status is kind of cool -- but I hated the way it was made such a magical unicorn phenomena did grate a little.

I guess I never felt that attached to Erica. I can see being bummed out by Boyd though.
