'I'm not going to kill you, I'm just going to hurt you really, really bad.' and the 'Would you die for me...no, wait...would you live for me?' are very abusive scenes.

It's a different kind of abusive than in the comics (he's possessive, not trying to get rid of her), but it's still abusive.
