That just makes it worse. Truly. Having someone pitch a fit, then telling the person bearing the brunt of it that it isn't about them and not to take it personally is the insult added to your raging assholery injury. Way to go on promoting yourself to The Absolute Worst.

Um... what????

There's a difference between expressing frustration to a customer service rep and outright threatening or insulting them. If the CSR's self-worth is so inextricably tied to the company, that hearing anything that isn't glowing praise leaves them in tears, then maybe somebody is in the wrong line of work.
