Uhura did more than being just Spock's girlfriend (e.g, saving Spock and Kirk, facing the Klingons etc), saying otherwise is a sexist argument especially when she surely did more for the plot than Mccoy who us just kirk's friend (or someone listening to Spock or Kirk problems in stb) without anything that is just about him, and fans praise that and demand more of him interacting just with the main guys.
