Man, and I was thinking that spending a 100 euro budget on a con is much. I feel lucky now (though our cons are smaller and have fewer big names).

Four nights in a hotel at a hundred bucks a night, assuming no roommate. Fifty bucks a day for food. A hundred and sixty (more or less) for gas to get there. Three hundred for incidentals, booze, and swag. Forty to fifty for the con membership. It adds up, but I can budget less for the swag if I have to.

Fortunately, I can write it all off on my taxes as a business expense! But that doesn't help me come up with the money in the here and now. :p
