Yep, this! I'm all about the hate-sex, but I can't compute any kind of love there. They pretty clearly don't even secretly care about each other, like it's legitimately all loathing. The only thing they bond over is how much they hate Merrill. lol

I wouldn't say I outright like Melkor/Feanor, but I've read a couple of fics and I do like the hate sex dynamic.


G'Kar/Londo for a pairing that would develop from hate sex into respect.

Angelus/Giles from Buffy. I read a fic once, and it was fun.

I don't know if love it, but back during seasons 1 and 2 of OUaT, I could only see Swanqueen working as dubcon hatesex. I like them better as a more equal couple now, even if they aren't my favorite ship ever.
