This is pretty minor, but I have this friend who isn't usually comfortable with internet hugs. I hate being touched offline, but I love internet hugs. And I used to have a bad habit of not taking my pills. So then we got into a system where I would take my pills, tell my friend, and they would give me an internet hug as kind of a reward, to encourage me to do it. But then I got better about taking my pills, and now I miss the hugs, but I can't tell them that because they would feel bad for not doing something they wouldn't be comfortable doing. So I guess I'm telling you instead!

That seems like kind of an odd thing to hate.

And I do imagine that the benefits of taking your meds outweigh the loss! Here's a hug for you too: *hugs*

I don't know, I mean, hugs are one thing but I'd definitely be creeped out by, for instance, kisses, even platonic and not-real-life ones. Either way, people's boundaries are what they are. And you are right; it's a small price to pay for relative sanity. Thank you (and above anon) for the hugs!

I can see where you're coming from.

You're missing the positive reinforcement, and online is safer since you don't have to actually be touched, but internet hugs show that someone cares about you.

Since I'm a hugmonster on-and-offline (though I always ask first IRL)...

*huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug*
