Re: Most Disturbing Agreed Upon Arguement
I mean the character in question was a gay conservative politician. But like, I was just uncomfortable with the idea in general. Because in my mind once you introduce the idea of forced outing as a punishment for some offense, you're setting a dangerous precedent. Like that's a very dangerous idea to suggest.
Other people are going to take that and apply it in their own way to what they define as 'treachery'. The last thing the LGBT community needs is a bunch of people to think that outing people is a punishment for not 'toeing the line' in some way.
