She now has to self-administer blood-thinner shots twice a day; I will do a lot for her that I should let her do (or fail to do) for herself, but I won't do blood or needles. She called in to the two sober homes she's on a waiting list for, and is still sober (it will get harder when the instead-of-booze detox drugs run out.) I'm fighting to stay awake long enough that I sleep through the night--my brain doesn't do naps well; if I sleep for any length of time, when I wake up, my brain insists on staying that way for at least 12 hours. Eh, I'll survive. Ordered my textbooks online from the ER, so that's done.
