God I couldn't agree with you more. I was so happy to hear they had cut most of his scenes from the movie. I think he is reprehensible for the negative work environment he needlessly created. I also disliked his portrayal of the joker. There was nothing that made him specifically the joker rather than generic asshole #3

You and me both. I loved Margot Robbie in this movie. And I love stories where Harley branches out, and has new love interests like the ones you mentioned, or solo adventures. I like her much more than the Joker and I think any dynamics that has them as ex-lovers are interesting.

Harley is one of the coolest (anti)villains DC has

the only franchise where they did her really dirty are the Arkham games (along with other female characters)... shame, because the games are otherwise really on point
but aside from that, she's been consistently well-written and badass and whatnot
