YouTube Shows You Miss

Sort of inspired by that twitter hashtag.

Were they cancelled mid-run? Did they disappear? Did they have a full run but you still miss the show? Do you just miss when it was good?

- I sort of miss Leaving Bliss, which only had one season because of funding. Although in retrospect, I prefer The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt anyway, because whereas I felt we were supposed to laugh at the MC's naivete (and it made little sense given that everyone in her family was the polar opposite), Kimmy is a similar character - for different reasons - and it's clear we're meant to love her. Still, I wish the show had been able to go on, because it might have even addressed the issues I brought up.

- I wish Pemberly Digital would do a new adaptation. I wish they'd done another Jane Austen novel.

This! The microwave show was the first youtube show I ever got into, I think. The opening still pops into my head whenever I microwave something.

I also miss all the Shadow of Israphel stuff from the Yogscast. I know they lost the maps and if they brought it back it would lack a lot of the magic, but I really loved that primitive hokey DnD campaign feel the series had.

Marble Hornets! Even though it became a bit of a mess at the end.

Also, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. It is really great to read and watch videos about the story behind it and all the things you miss while watching it.

+1 on Marble Hornets. That shit was so scary, but it got really involved towards the end in a way that I thought took away from the creep factor.

I miss the depression era cooking with Clara videos. Clara passed away in 2013.
