They treat their cabin crew like shit though, worse than Ryanair. BA's Walsh was a serious O'Leary fanboy, but he couldn't do anything about front of house in BA, so he screwed over the cabin crew and pilots.

Doesn't mean it can't be a nice passenger experience though, or that I can't compliment them for a job well done.

Yeah, if you do use them you should be nice to them as people, on the other hand I personally feel I cannot support the business that actively screws its own staff as a matter of policy whilst pretending to be this great egalitarian institution. It means that, through no fault of the cabin crew who are still proud of the heritage of the airline and work to try and at least uphold that, I don't find it an enjoyable passenger experience simply being a customer of them.

Personally I'd rather be on Ryanair, because at least O'leary is upfront about being a cunt and the staff don't have to pretend they aren't miserable buggers just hacking away at the coalface of life until something better comes along.
