I feel you, OP. I have the same problem with Rise Against. My friend really likes them, and they have a four album thingy on Hoopla that I could check out through my library. Listened to it and realized halfway through that I wasn't absorbing any of the music because it all seemed to have the same beat and lyrical tone.

I'm better if I hear one of their songs at a time, but I still can't appreciate Rise Against like my friend does.

I agree about Rise Against. Sometimes I'll want to listen to one of their songs and I'd have to scroll around until I find the song that was originally in my head. A lot of their songs sound the same.
