I've been way less interested in it for months. The coli is pretty much the only way to make money, and I guess I'm just bored with that?

I also got very less involved when Baldwin let us brew currency, as there is no need to grind for it anymore. Plus it means there are a million copies of every festival apparel out there, so no need to hoard it. I don't like Mycena Caves's overall, but I love their variety of fairgrounds games and I love that they mix it up each festival instead of doing the same thing each time. (Even if I don't care for what they did for a specific festival, at least I know there will be something different next time.

It's also disheartening that it's a dragon breeding game, but I can't really buy more dragons because I have permas I'm attached to but at 175 spaces, expansions are exorbitant. (I mean they were before 175 spaces too, but...) Plus I rarely bother to breed my dragons, because as much as I love seeing what the babies look like, no one buys them (not that I can blame them given lair space issues) and I hate constantly exalting everyone.

And finally, I don't really have any goals. Most of the dragons I want to gene are ridiculously expensive to gen3, especially with the treasure:gem ratio as it is. And it seems a waste to spend $20 to just get a single coat scroll.

I wish I could draw so I could make money by being an artist/accent artist, but alas, I am not at all artistically inclined. Other than that, I'm not really sure what could draw me back in that would be feasible for them to implement. (Like I'd love cheaper lair space, but there is no way that is ever going to change.)

I used to be obsessed with FR (enough that I have all the sprites and pages of usermade accents), but I have been finding that I am barely even logging in anymore. And that makes me sad.

Oh, and I was so busy venting but... Congrats on the sprite and the flight rep! I'm glad you have gotten interested again.

Ahh, I can get that. I can see how the game loses most of its fun factor long term. I've been on for.. gosh, about nine months now? And I think I do a lot of it is out of habit now rather than excitement, but I'm still having fun with gene projects and familiar collecting. I tell myself that on the day I decide I'm not interested, I'll just give everything away or sell it for 1t in the AH to totally clear my account so then I won't go back anymore out of habit, since you can't delete accounts, but for now, at least, I'm still enjoying it! I'm hoping they'll release a new breed or something soon, and that'll be awesome.

Nine months was just about when I started getting tired of it. As that was about when I finished getting my sprites and the first NotN was so annoying to me. I took my first month-long break at that point.

I'm glad you're still having fun with gene projects. I think mine might be too overwhelming, maybe? So I don't know who to gene next? Plus, they are just so expensive, so I can't decide if it is actually worth it.

I have considered quitting and giving stuff away, but I don't know that I could do that, as I would hate to see my dragons starve and I am such a compulsive collector.

I hope everything works out for you!
