I'm not "sad" I'm just tired and anxious, and also I've emotionally sponged up a bunch of sadness and tension and anxiety from work so I'm trying not to let that get me down I guess.

Ugh, that feeling is the worst! I once had a panic attack from that -- I had had a really bad experience of being around a lot of suffering and stress all day, and that night, I could not decompress at all, could not stop my thoughts from racing around horrible things, and I didn't sleep a wink. Funny you mention "sponged" -- that was exactly what I felt: like I was filled with this awful nauseating brown-green light that I had soaked up from the day, and I simply could not wring it out of me and was going frantic from the effort.
