Okay, I really want this AU now. I like the idea of exploring AUs where Sauron wins. But generally they end up just being "Sauron rapes Aragorn" or "Sauron rapes Legolas" or occasionally "Sauron rapes Frodo." Which...I'm down for the right non-con fics, but these ones are generally really badly written. I really want fics that explore what it might actually be like if Sauron got the Ring back. It isn't like he'd instantly win given that the Ring never gave him that power before, and even with the greatly weakened strength and ability of the good guys, it would still take some effort.
