Maybe not the "world police" specifically, and I don't know who teaches citizens what, but there's plenty of Americans who are extremely down with the idea of bombing the hell out of anyone who looks at us funny, you know?

And also many Americans believe that American culture, government, etc. is objectively superior to the rest of the world and we should be implementing it everywhere.

My point is that we're not TAUGHT that. People come up with that idea on their own. It isn't given to us by the government.

I was agreeing with you, and adding on, not disagreeing. (Sadly.) And no, we're not taught that by the government specifically, but many learn it from parts of our culture.
