It is still on the internet, in a backup of a Geocities page. It did not get finished, though a few chapters were posted several years ago. But the author put up 80 pages (seriously, I think that's how long it was) of author's notes (basically important scene snippets that had been already written) on a Yahoo list after that, which gave you a pretty thorough outline of what would have happened at the end of the third book.

I'm still amazed at how well written that fic was.
