I think media have played a real big part in making this a thing again. Starting the whole real woman do/don't wear makeup bullshit that happened when she first stopped wearing makeup.

Though the fact her no makeup manifesto came after she no longer had to deal with the acne problem she had fought for years def made me side eye her a bit but she herself has never directly attacked those who do rely on makeup to get by so you know, you do you girl and all that.

Oh my god are you fucking serious. "Side eye" all you want, a woman should NEVER have to justify her decision to stop wearing makeup, and the fact that she's expected to is ridiculous. There is no "real women do [x]" going on here; Alicia Keys is making a personal choice and being lambasted for it because it goes against society's expectations of women.

Alicia Keys- after she had her nose job- looks naturally beautiful. She can get away without wearing any makeup! If a homely woman did that in Hollywood she would: 1) get a LOT of shit for her decision, or 2) no one would give a shit because she wasn't pretty to begin with.

Did you even read the article linked? She isn't "getting away with it" she's being attacked for it. It doesn't matter how "naturally beautiful" she is; as a woman she is expected to cover her face to conform to the unreasonable, unrealistic, unnatural standard of perfection that ALL women are expected to conform to.

I love that her hubby is standing up for it too.

Honestly, wear makeup or don't, I don't care, but it's fucking stupid that women are expected to wear it if they have any kind of public persona and men are not.

I never wear it (can't be bothered and I like the way I look without it) so if I ever somehow got famous and people started expecting me to wear makeup (except like, stage makeup, within reason) there'd be a problem. But fortunately I am not creative enough to become famous in entertainment and it's unlikely I'd ever get famous for anything else lol.

Justified: Spoilers for whole show

Well, I finished the show.

Why did so many of the sort of sweet and stupid bad guys have to die? :( First poor Dewey Crowe. That dumb bastard just wanted to run a whorehouse and be left alone. Then Choo Choo who didn't want to be treated like a moron. Then poor Mike who in the end saved Wynn Duffy and wanted to die in Duffy's arms. (ಥ_ಥ)

Also, probably my favorite lines in the whole show.

Boyd: How you know I wasn't some Boy Scout looking for his tent?
Raylan: Your teeth glow in the dark.

The plot in season 6 got a bit convoluted. I really don't get why they had that whole subplot with the weird and creepy assassin dude. He was annoying.

Ava really started annoying me towards the end of the season. Like, just STOP. Stop and pay for your actions. Had this stopped in season 5, I would have wanted her to be as happy as could be. But she was just so aggravating in season 6. Also, how did she not notice that person taking a picture of her in a pumpkin patch? She was looking right at the camera and was the middle of the frame. I bet that kid of hers was born with a full set of giant teeth.

I did not expect Boyd to come out alive. I expected he would die in a fiery, explosive death. I'm not surprised he has become a crazy preacher man. I really do love the idea that Harlan stays with you all the time. I am surprised he never had a Moral Event Horizon moment.

All the goodbyes were great when Raylan left. They were all in character and sweet. ;_; I think Raylan's new hat is not nearly as good as the old one. The last conversation between Boyd and Raylan was fantastic.

It always surprises me how much I want to either see the bad guys on that show die a bloody death or drive off into the sunset to continue doing more ridiculous illegal things. Great writing.

I'm glad they left it with Boyd and Ava and Raylan and Winona separate. It would have been really weird to see any of them happy together after everything they did to each other.

I miss Raylan's old hat too.

I was really surprised that the main three (Raylan, Boyd, Ava) all survived in the end. I remember there was a lot of speculation when it was airing about who would die, and a lot of people (me included) thought that they'd possibly ALL die, lol. But I'm glad it ended the way it did, it felt complete.

And Loretta's totally going to be queen of Harlan now :D
