Re: Who is the character you hate to love and who is the character you love to hate?

I don't love to hate anyone-- If a character is horrible but entertaining, I genuinely love them (e.g. why Littlefinger is one of my favorite characters ever). Characters I hate, I want off my tv screen/page/etc for good.

Characters I hate to love.... My first thought is Dr. Lee Rosen on Alphas. I loved him SO MUCH and his downward spiral in season 2 was fantastic but so painful to watch..... And then the show was cancelled, so welp!

Characters I love to love... Dorothea Brooke. Dale Cooper. Dana Scully. Karl "Helo" Agathon. Marcus Kane. The main character from the movie "Fishtank". Jane Eyre. Eugene Wrayburn in "Our Mutual Friend ". Dr. Rivers in the "Regeneration" trilogy. Kate Sutton in "The Perilous Gard". Anne Shirley. Laura Ingalls. Jo March. My literary dream husband, Henry Rackham.
