09. I work in a story which caters to variously sized women. I always feel so awkward when other women comment on my weight. I don’t feel offended but… I never know what to say, and I wish they’d stop!
14. I sorta like how Dumbledore became a much more flawed and, frankly, creepy mentor figure as the series continued. Same with Sirius, James, etc. Usually in stories where a child is growing up, either killing off or revealing the flaws of the child’s heroic or protective figures is used to signify that a major part of childhood is over. JKR did both!
20. That phrase always makes me think of a giant picking up that threesome sandwich and cutting off their screams through biting off their heads, like from that Beowulf movie.
26. I thought Glenn Close’s performance was usually called up as a saving grace for that movie.
32. Yikes! I would argue that the Swords of Hatred basically represents misogyny, with Anthy representing the myth of the emasculating female. The Eve, the Lady Macbeth. So, yes, misogyny in the Utena fandom is so wrong.
