Dude, come on. I'll be the first to admit there are plenty of secrets around here that scream 'please disconnect the computer and step away from the anime,' but I don't see how this is one of them. People can be inspired by fictional characters without needing to "go outside." I thought it was cute.

Incidentally, you're posting on a Livejournal called fandomsecrets, so please to be stepping off the high horse and getting over yourself about now.

I don't know; being inspired to follow an entire career path because of an anime character is something that I find a little over-the-top and silly. I'd say it to my sister, who's pursuing a degree in criminal studies because of shows like CSI, as easily as I'd say it to this person.

I'm posting a community that I don't understand about 85% of because...I'm not actually active in any fandoms. It's for the lulz, my friend. :|
