It's true and that's not a bad thing. Barb is great! I'm glad she's popular and I hope a way is found for her to come back. (She will be a zombie or worse and there will be glee among the fans as we hide under the covers.)

I can't imagine a way of bringing her back that wouldn't shatter my suspension of disbelief.

She's Boba Fett. A character who wasn't intended to be as popular as she got, and was written definitively out of the show before anyone realised that was the case. Bad luck, really.
