Not as fast as one of my guildies, he was 110 the second day(he didn't sleep so he could power through and when he hit max we all told him to go to bed).

And yes, you get a separate quest for each artifact, they're not very long though and should be easy-enough(I only had issues with one and that's because I was in the wrong gear while doing it and didn't notice 'till after I'd done it).

Oh but a note: you only get to pick one artifact at 100 and you have to be 102 before you can pick the others so choose which artifact and spec you want to main the first time.
