No idea actually. I can't even put in a tampon or get examined there by a doctor without pain. My gynecologist suggested I might just have some oversensitive nerves, but she couldn't suggest any treatment.

Ah, forgive me if you've already heard this or aren't looking for advice, but have you considered vaginismus?

(Apparently there are also creams that can help.)

Hmmm. I don't know if my problem is muscle contractions, at least not completely? I mean, there was one time I was in the ER and they wanted to do a pelvic exam, but they couldn't do it even after giving me oxy and a muscle relaxant. Wouldn't the muscle relaxant have done the trick if the issue was muscular?

That sounds extremely unpleasant. I'm sorry. I'm not an expert and I don't know. Might be something to bring up next time you talk to your gynaecologist, though.

Or all the non-PIV happy times to do or fantasise about, there's that. :-)
