As with most people on this, you took one part of OP's secret and responded and didn't look at the rest. I agree, OP could have worded that bit differently.
So the bits about them being bullied for something that is now popular had no effect on you? (which to me was the main gist of the secret).
Oh that's right, a bully victim should just 'grow up or get funny'.

Seriously? The whole thing is four sentences. The 'popular looking people' bit is one of the two sentences that the OP decided to emphasize. No-one's misrepresenting the OP or putting words in their mouth - it's just that the OP is very petty and very whiny, and yes! They should probably get over the bullying that occurred when they were a child!
Or do you suggest that they wallow in their pathetic state for the rest of their life, because they're (insert dramatic chord here) a bully victim!!!

[and as for the secret as a whole, I've heard many people complain that they were bullied for things they've since seen become popular, and I think they were all stupid and self-absorbed]
