Ahh in 2013/14 I lived with a bunch of other people in a house on campus, the bottom floor of which was at least 50% underground (if I looked out my window, I saw people's shoes/ankles; I was at sidewalk level). The bottom floor and the kitchen (it was a split level, kitchen was on the ground floor) were mildly haunted. Usually we'd just see somebody moving around in my housemate Kyle's room (across the very narrow hall from mine; you could stand in both rooms at once!). But often times around 3-5 am someone would knock HARD on my door. I always opened it, just in case it was a housemate emergency, but nobody was ever there. If I let it in, it would move my hangers around (probably because it made a screechy noise).

We put up/burned some sage, but the night after we did four of the eight people in the house had VERY unpleasant dreams, so we figured ghosty didn't like it, and since they were a pretty chill ghosty, we took down the sage.
