Re: Embarrassing Moments

Today I drove two hours from town to a festival. It wasn't much and thankfully I yelped some restaurants in the area ahead of time to get some lunch. Had a good grilled cheese and onion rings (those rings didn't sit too well though). I walked around the town for 30-40 minutes before heading back to my car. Just as I get into the car I realize that I forgot to pay the restaurant bill! I left the tip but didn't pay the bill! So I hurriedly got over to the restaurant, apologized profusely to the waitress and got it paid. She was nice about it. But man, imagine if I got home, 2 hours later, and realized it?

Mine is similar to this, so I feel a little better sharing it.

I was super tired. I had only gotten like 5 hrs. of sleep and then woke up and did a 5k with my Mom. When we finished like 2 hours later, she gave me money to go to the store to get food to make brunch. I shouldn't have even been driving because of how dizzy and out of it I was. But I got there, got the food, and went to the self-check out. But people started lining up behind me, and I felt like I was tipping over, so I was rushing to bag my stuff and leave because I got paranoid about holding up the line. I was rishing so bad I didn't pay (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and an employee had to remind me. I was THIS CLOSE to crying, and I kept saying sorry, and everyone was looking me like I was a dirty criminal.
