(Anonymous) 2016-09-04 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)I am in no way a newbie to becoming fascinated by morally grey characters (liking to make headcanons, read/write fic and meta, analyze canon and shit, etc.) but usually these characters also happened to be pretty attractive (which isn't the only reason I'm interested in them. I hate folks who try to shimmy their "sweet little villain snookums who can do no wrong" into a pair of leather pants as much as the next fan, but when you're investing yourself in a character it's definitely a perk if they also happen to be easy on the eyes).
Started watching Breaking Bad and he has become one of these characters (and definitely one of my top three characters on the show). This feels kind of weird to me, as I'm super into his character yet I don't find him attractive AT ALL (and this isn't even about me thinking that he is "crusty, old, and gross," I've been into actors even older than him, he just doesn't float my root beer for whatever reason). In short, he's a sleazy guy with a limited sense of ethics. I just don't get why I'm so drawn to him.
TL;DR: Usually the villains I get interested also happen tickle my aesthetic/physical/shallow and superficial fancy, this isn't true for this character and this feels a bit strange as I do not understand why.

It looks like it was shrunk from a larger image, and also seems to be a victim of jpg compression :(
Both of which make it more difficult to read.
