The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time is... well not exactly boring, but annoying as fuck.

I can't properly convey my rage at the way La Vie d'Adèle totally butchered the original Le Bleu est une Couleur Chaude.

Now I'm legit curious about what other film you were thinking of?

I think it was a Japanese film with a similarly translated English title? I'm not sure though.

I really liked The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, because it resonated with me.

However that being said, it was a rather "simple" straightforward book. I liked it, but at the time I had some people being ragingly enthusiastic about it an well, it was just over-hyped.

I thought it would resonate with me too, but instead I get so much second-hand embarrassment at Christopher's social maladaptation I feel it grating.
