Back when I was in college, I saw a fiftyish lady at the Panera. She had on a nice business suit and her graying hair was tied into a low ponytail in the back, and it went all the way down to her back pants pockets.

I secretly thought, "You rock it, girlfriend."

Regardless of hair length, you rock it too, anon.

Well long hair can make women look older as they start approaching their senior years, but if you want to keep yours long, it's really up to you. Don't let them get to you about it.

It's really more a question of facial shape, rather than age. Besides, anyone with long hair can wear a flattering updo.
