You're right. Some grammar mistakes are easy for native English speakers to make. But the one in the secret isn't, and any native English speaker that makes it is either stupid or careless.

I've seen both native and non-native speakers write horribly. And make similar mistakes.

It's true, some mistakes are really, really typical of a certain side, but it's not exclusive and I hate the idea that if someone has bad grammar, then awwww, it must be a poor wittle non-speaker!

I think that's hardly the case; it's probably more of a thought process of, "Wow, someone posting a secret on grammar making an obvious error like that in their own language... Please, please don't let English be their mother tongue."


There's always that hope that a native of any language won't fuck up THAT severely in their own tongue. Yeah, I know it happens, but it's hard not to cringe. I highly doubt it's a sentiment of, "awwww, it must be a poor wittle non-speaker" as you say.
