(Anonymous) 2016-09-07 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)Because they get tangled, worn, the connector breaks, and sooner or later the headphones will start doing that only-playing-in-one-ear thing because there's a short in the part where the cord meets the plug. That's why I hate cords, at any rate. No pair of headphones ever lasted longer than a couple years until I bought a Bluetooth set.
