Family Guy is all about Seth MacFarlane stroking his ego and shitting on anyone who personally disagrees with him, then pretending it's social commentary. MacFarlane tries to have it both ways; he desperately wants ally cookies, but at the same time he also wants to shit on marginalized people because it's ~edgy~ and he's all about being pointlessly offensive. The result is an inconsistent trainwreck. It's pure narcissistic double-talking holier-than-thou bullshit fueled by the pretense of "social justice."

What South Park does is actual social commentary without any of the hypocritical narcissism or ~edgy-for-the-sake-of-edgy~ nonsense.

Seth McFarlene doesn't even write for the show anymore, he literally just comes in and does his voices and leaves, so the writers are all just edgelords.
