Nawh. We still have plenty of slash even tho we've gotten a lot more canon gay couples.

First, that's because people get off on slash; second, I don't think we really have representative representation for gay couples? We're making progress but it's not yet near to any kind of norm.

Those that involve smut (which is a great big number of'em) - absolutely. Yes. The way most trans fics are written are pretty much fetish fodder in general.

Huh. That's not the impression I have gotten from the large number of secrets we've had about them here but fair enough I guess. I generally avoid Tumblr so.
