Hmm, that's a good point! There are some fics where, if you see enough of a certain type of positive comment, you can make a pretty good assumption of what it's gonna be like.

I feel like that's a really uneven rubric to go by, though. I've come across some really horribly written fics that have, for whatever reason, inspired amazing meta-analysis in the comments.
