I don't have misophonia (unless you count a reaction to one very particular and specific sound but I don't think it's the sound itself because if I hear something that sounds the same but I know has a different origin it doesn't bother me). But one of my best friends has it, my sister has it and I think my dad does too if more mildly. They all have issues with hearing other people eat. I may not understand their exact reaction but why would I want to cause someone an unpleasant experience? I just try not to crunch my food around them
