Last semester there was a guy in TWO of my classes (the same guy) who did that like every 5 minutes if not more often, and he sat directly behind me in one class and always seemed to be sitting within two seats of me in the other (twas a small classroom for that one to be fair.) It was INCREDIBLY irritating and one day I offered him a tissue AND HE SAID NO THANKS AND KEPT SNOTTING AND SNORTING FOR THE REST OF THE CLASS. At that point I just kind of figured it was something he liked doing and felt free to indulge my angry fantasies of briskly beating him round the head with my notebook.

edit: indulge in fantasizing about it, not actually doing it

I have someone in class that does that! He always turns down my tissues! :O
