Cheese!
(Anonymous) 2016-09-10 12:54 am (UTC)(link)Re: Cheese!
Fondue is one of my personal favorite cheese applications, but heck, just eating a good piece of cheese with a bread/pickle/vegetable accompaniment is also my idea of heaven.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-10 01:36 am (UTC)(link)I'm not a fan of american cheese or mozzerella.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-10 01:48 am (UTC)(link)Sliced thinly and eaten on nice crackers, maybe with a little dried fruit.
I'm not big into basically any other cheese. I have expensive tastes I guess.
Re: Cheese!
(Anonymous) 2016-09-10 02:30 am (UTC)(link)But not swiss. I HATE swiss cheese.

But I don't like swiss cheese because it has an odd almost sweet taste to it that, to my cheddar-influenced tastebuds, doesn't taste like cheese.
I tried a small taste-test piece of blue cheese at Ikea last time I was there (and bought the meatball meal package), and now I am curious as to whether I have grown to a point where I can appreciate blue cheese.
Re: Cheese!
MacDonalds cheeseburgers - had one last week because I got a voucher for a cheeseburger and small fries for $2.
Toasted cheese sandwiches - not made the way American grilled cheese sandwiches are made, I put my toasted sandwiches under the oven grill. I also love toasted tomato sandwiches.
Related to that, cheese jaffles - a jaffle iron is a type of sandwich press that presses the edges together to seal them into a bread-pod. Jaffles can contain any filling, but my favourites are cheese and egg.
Old favourite: Cheese On Toast. Toast a couple of slices of bread, butter them, then spread tomato sauce or tomato paste on them, then cover with cheese - sliced or grated - and put under the oven grill until melted and showing brown spots. Eat while hot. This was a common favourite breakfast of mine, preferably with tomato paste and grated cheddar.
Cream cheese icing - maybe because on the whole scale of cake frosting, cream cheese tends to be a bit milder, but I also just like the cream cheese taste. Best cake to have it on: Carrot.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-10 04:53 am (UTC)(link)My favorite cheesy foods are pizza, and grilled cheese sandwiches. But not any grilled cheese; huge slices of french bread with cheddar and jack grated together.
