I think you misunderstand the idea of karma. You aren't supposed to purposefully engineer someone else's karma.

There is no shame in punching a bully in the face.

In some contexts. When actively standing up for someone, sure. Out of the blue, not so much. I wonder if OP actually messages people with "this is why I'm doing this, I saw you do X to Y person and now you know how it feels" or whatever, or if they're just sending them random anon asks with shitty content and no context at all.
