Every time I see Will Smith in a movie, I'm reminded that I really like him as an actor. I mean Suicide Squad was sort of meh-is but he was certainly the best thing about it.

I would not call Suicide Squad a "feel good movie".

It's got aspects of it. His character is a father who went down the wrong road and will do whatever he feels necessary to get his daughter back and in a safe space.

It's still pretty much a bog standard action blockbuster, though. There's no world in which Suicide Squad could be considered a feel-good drama.
