I think in order to get a proper answer to this question you need to define what you mean by mansplaining, because different people use it differently, and thanks to the tumblr crowd the term has been perverted into something beyond its original definition.

The original definition, and the definition I use is: When a man talks over women about women's experiences, or assumes he is an expert on a topic that he has no firsthand knowledge of when speaking to a woman who is an expert and does have firsthand knowledge.

Is that what you mean?

That definition is fine to me. I was trying not to stress definitions and just let people use whatever understanding they had in their heads.
