I don't think that's what the OP means (although your imagery is hilarious). I think they mean like shipping particular characters or writing smut and stuff like that.

I'm aware, and I think that if that's her justification it's a lame one. You can be a non-shipper and not bring ridiculous words like "cheapen" into it. Sex, let alone romance, is certainly part of Narnian life, and just because the secret poster chooses not to explore that part doesn't mean it doesn't belong there.
