(Anonymous) 2008-04-13 04:02 am (UTC)(link)Now that I can look at that story with some amount of hindsight... at that moment, it seemed to me like I was doing the best I could for myself and that I was learning a lot. Now, however, I realize that I would have grown and learned even without that person. In fact, I realize that because I wasn't questioning what was happening in the relationship, most of what I learned was his issues -- with perfectionism, deserving, being good enough, and all that jazz.
So.
Whereas the puppy-ness is completely understandable and normal, pls do less puppy-ness and more critical thinking and questioning, or else you will soak up my issues, even though I mean well.
But I have already said this.
I dunno why I am so determined to get you to start introspecting *shrugs*
actually, I know why. Cause I think theres no other way to personal and spiritual growth. But aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyways.
I really should see this Nana thing so I can get the reference properly. I presume its on youtube? <33333
And thanks for thinking I'm made of awesome. I think you're made of awesome too, for all the times that you've been there for me.
