(Anonymous) 2016-09-15 12:46 am (UTC)(link)REPENT
always use butter or oil, mixed with garlic (powder or fresh, doesn't matter)
if I'm feeling fancy I add fresh basil leaves and sesame seeds
if I need protein I add bacon and raw (but fresh!) eggs

(Anonymous) 2016-09-15 02:24 am (UTC)(link)Oddly, now I use the cheap miso soup packets as a soup base and I add fish.

Re: Ramen
(Anonymous) 2016-09-15 02:56 am (UTC)(link)1. Cook beef noodles with half the seasoning pouch in the water. Drain most (but not all) of the water, mix in rest of the seasoning, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce.
2. Break noodles and cook them (with some optional frozen veggies) drain as well as you can. Mix in seasoning packet. Pan-fry noodles (and optional veggies) in oil until crisp. While they are pan-frying, mix up some eggs and if you have it, a little milk, as if you were making scrambled eggs. Once the noodles are fairly crisp on the surface, pour eggs over them and cook.

Re: Ramen
(Anonymous) 2016-09-15 06:23 am (UTC)(link)In my old country, Top Ramen Creamy Chicken was my favorite. I just cook it, pour out the water until it was just under the top of the noodles, and add the flavor pack. That's still my absolute favorite. I keep trying to get the 'rents to send a care package with some packages.
