Unless they're really rank, as long as you keep them on your feet the smell wil stay mostly inside the shoe. If you've got access to unscented air freshener or febreze or something, that'll freshen them up a bit temporarily -- do your socks, too. Just avoid the temptation to douse them in perfume or something heavily scented. That will just make them smell like stinky feet and perfume, and call attention to them.
