Unless you're a visitor from a very strange parallel dimension where otherkin, nonbinary people, and abuse survivors make up the it crowd, it sounds to me like you're just butthurt that people who are bigger outcasts than you perceive yourself to be have been allowed in.

Not OP and I don't agree with them, but I think it's more likely that OP doesn't believe that people can be otherkin or nonbinary, that those are fake identities made up by people who want to feel different and special, and that they are either oversharing about the abuse they suffered, exaggerating for effect, or flat out making it up. Not that those people are so popular and don't belong in the outcast clubhouse, but that they saw the "outcasts only" sign on the door and made up ridiculous fake reasons they qualified as outcasts, because mainlining fantasy tv doesn't get your lunch money stolen anymore.

As someone who got their lunch money stolen on the regular, I don't care. Sometimes I think people the OP despairs of are silly, but they're generally harmless, some of them have probably been bullied, they like the stuff I like, and I don't get the point of gatekeeping.

You know, if someone says they are trans, or non-binary or that they have been abused I believe them, but whenever I see someone claiming to have 10 different gender issues AND 10 mental illnesses AND they are disabled AND they are CSA survivors AND their parents were absuvie, I can't help but wonder if they are just trying to win a medal. Like, sure, there are people who have lots of issues in real life, but when every Tumblr profile you see is a list of "what's wrong with me", statistically, you've to wonder if something fishy is going on.

Well, at this point, we're mostly arguing about proportions. And frankly, I'd rather emphasize the people who do have problems and need help and belief than spend all my time talking about the people who are being silly and mocking them.

People with disabilities are at a higher risk of abuse and sexual predators who see them as an easy prey, and abuse can and does lead to mental issues and issues with gender. I can definitely believe a person can have all these issues and I will respect it, as long as they're not obnoxious about it.

The people we're talking about here, the people with the long string of special snowflake descriptors, are almost all obnoxious about it though.
