Yeah, I see people saying that all the time. But I haven't actually seen it.
I've only seen people accusing people of being triggered, usually to mock someone for expressing an idea that they don't like (not dethtoll, I realize he was being sarcastic).

In other words, everyone seems to think people claim to be triggered themselves, in reality, you're more likely to have someone else claim you are triggered.

Look, alt-right assholes wouldn't have any ammunition for mockery if people didn't demand trigger warnings for every fucking thing under the sun. Which kind of also looks like avoidance of ideas they don't like. The mockers and the mockees are two sides of the same coin.

Another thing that gives cover to alt-right assholes is talking about it as though it's a much more widespread problem than it is, and in a way that doesn't acknowledge that trigger warnings do have validity in some circumstances.

IDGAF about giving cover to one side or acknowledging the validity of the other side. You're both whiny brats who don't want to hear things you don't like, and yes, you are both equally loud and equally exasperating.

Your faux-libertarian "above it all" attitude is tiresome.

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

you phrased that like a question and then you finish off with "in reality". so you do know the objective truth?

im following a couple of blogs that have replied to asks about please tagging x because it's triggering, i've seen otherkin blogs genuinely claim they're triggered if someone claims the same character as them. seems to me my anecdotes contradict your anecdotes...
